Syed Sallauddin Pasha is a Bharatanatyam, Kathak dancer, choreographer, Actor and pioneer Artistic Director of Ability Unlimited, a therapeutic dance theater on Wheels chairs in India. He has instills confidence to the differently-able artistes by training them in acting and dancing.
Syed Sallauddin Pasha has received immense international and national recognition for his pioneers in dance and movement therapy for people with special need. A saying goes” to understand others you need to go into their shoes” the same thing is within the heart of Guru Syed Sallauddin Pasha. He would spend hours sitting in the wheelchair. He has innovated the therapeutic theater wheelchair production for persons with special needs, and his amazing and heart throbbing performances to which they won international recognition across the globe.
Guru Syed Sallauddin Pasha has some of his famous and popular wheelchair dance productions are Sufi dance, Bharatanatyam on wheelchair, Yoga on wheelchairs, Ramayana on the wheel, Bhagawad Gita on wheelchair. Rumi on Wheels, wheelchair on the wings and Chariot on the wheelchair. He has performed this event during different occasions.
Syed Sallauddin Pasha has received a National Award for the well welfare of the disabilities in the year 2007-08 from the then Pratibha Patil. He has entered the Limca book of records for creating 100 dance theater productions and directing 10,000 performances with differently-abled persons. He is a trained Bharatanatyam Dancer. And he has established his own training center. Syed Sallauddin Pasha is a empanelled Kathak, and theater artist and Bharatnatyam with the Indian Council for Culture Relations and recognized as an ‘A Grade’ Dancer of Doordarshan. With the disabilities Pasha’s group has performed more than 10,000 groups globally. Syed Sallauddin Pasha has run a Organization for the disability in the name Ability Unlimited.
